Here at Themefisher, we believe AI should make your work easier and more efficient.
Without the right context, AI coding tools starts to hallucinate and make guesses about your codebase. So when you ask it to change a layout or customize a component, it guesses, gets something wrong, and you ask it to fix it, only for something else to break. You end up burning through tokens and spending more time correcting the AI than if you had just done it yourself.
We wanted to fix that. So we built skill files and integrated them directly into all our premium Astro, Next.js, and Hugo themes. These are small but powerful instruction packages that has all the instruction, context and guidance coding agents like Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Claude Code, and Copilot need to work with our themes correctly.
What does it mean for your AI agents
This gives your agent a deep working knowledge of our templates across every area you have to work with:
- Routing: adding new pages, routes, and sections
- Components: using, modifying, and understanding built-in UI components
- Content management: creating and editing blog posts, markdown, and MDX files
- Configuration: updating site settings, navigation, social links, and SEO
- Architecture: understanding how the codebase is structured and how data flows through it
- Scripts: running dev, build, and generator commands
- Styling: customizing Tailwind CSS, dark mode, and the theme engine
How does it work
When you ask your agent something, it first checks the installed skill to figure out what guidance is relevant. It then pulls the right reference documentation for your specific task, whether that is managing content, updating configuration, or building a new page. From there it executes accurately, using the actual conventions of your template rather than making things up.
This significantly reduces AI hallucination and saves you a lots time, tokens and headache.
Using the skill with your AI-Agent
You can just open a project with an IDE, initiate a conversation with your agent and start working on it as you normally would. The agent will know when to pull in the right documentation based on what you are trying to do.

What you have to do?
If you purchased any of our premium themes after June 15, 2026, you don't have to do anything. The context your agent needs is already baked into all our themes. Just download it, load it into your preferred IDE, and start working on your project as you normally would.
If you downloaded a theme before June 15, 2026, follow these quick steps and install the skill file for your framework and your theme will be updated to include the skill file. Your AI agent will now have the know-how to get things right.
